1.  There are different ways to calculate the premium. Check with your credit card issuer for more information. For joint or supplementary coverage (for example, for a spouse), the insurance premium may be higher. Check your insurance certificate for the terms and conditions of your coverage.

2.  At age 65 years, coverage reduces to accidental death & accidental dismemberment.

3.  Premium charges are capped at $20,000. If one's monthly statement balance is over $20,000 the monthly premium charge will be based on a balance of $20,000.

4.  There is no additional premium charged for spousal coverage on the primary cardholder account.

5.  For Credit Protector, enrollment is between 18 - 65. You are not eligible to enroll after your 66th birthday. At age 66 Life coverage transfers to Accidental Death and Dismemberment.

6.  The cost is $0.89/$100.00 of your monthly statement balance, plus applicable taxes.

7.  Taxes may apply in certain provinces.

8.  While only Account Protector is currently the only product being actively marked in Canada, customers may still be enrolled in other products. Check certificate of choice for the number to call to submit a claim or request a certificate.

9.  Premiums are assessed on the month end balance (or balance at cycle) in all provinces except Quebec. In Quebec, the monthly premium is based on "per $100 of average daily balance", calculated on the statement date.

15.  Monthly benefit payment of 5% of outstanding balance if Borrower is unable to work due to disability, job loss, strike or lockout. Benefits are extended to an eligible Co-Borrower on the same account at no additional cost.

16.  The monthly premium is based on "per $100 of average daily balance".
