Like most young adults, Mélanie is nowhere near retirement, but she believes that it's never too early, or too late, to start saving for it. When she is in class with her students, she finds opportunities to teach them the value of money.

YOUTH AND FINANCIAL LITERACY

Isabelle, Vincent, Nicholas and Trevor image
Isabelle Coleman and Vincent Auffrey of the Mathieu-Martin High School, and Nicholas Smith and Trevor Yerxa of the Riverview High School, in New Brunswick, are part of an innovative project aimed at filling in the gap in financial knowledge that many high school students have. Coordinated by Partners for Youth, this pilot project uses as its primary teaching resource The City.
