Commissioner's Decisions

FCAC publishes the Commissioner's decisions to promote awareness about the obligations of federally regulated financial entities, as well as to provide a sample of the work FCAC is doing to protect financial consumers.

Appeals of the Commissioner's decisions can be found here. Commissioner's decisions rendered by the judges of the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal are filed in the Registry of the Court and are publicly available.

Commissioner's Guidance

FCAC presents the Commissioner's explanations of issues pertaining to acts, regulations, voluntary codes of conduct, public commitments and related policies, and how FCAC intends to apply them.
