Training
All FCAC materials come with guidance and instructions on how to best deliver the program’s content. In addition, FCAC has developed training programs to assist educators and facilitators in using and delivery of its programs. Training programs currently available are listed below.
The City
Free training is available for teachers and facilitators who would like to get familiar with The City and learn how to use it in their classroom.
FCAC offers training to teachers through:
- The City live Web conferences delivered by Curriculum Services Canada.
Through meaningful dialogue with an expert facilitator and colleagues from provincial, territorial and regional clusters, participants will engage in discussions and activities that will help guide their utilization of this resource in their own classrooms.
- The City Online Teaching Training Guide.
A self-paced, online audio-visual presentation designed to walk teachers through The City program and its resources. The training guide emphasizes key activities and financial concepts while providing a broad overview of the program.
- Group workshops for 10 people and up, delivered by The City’s teacher champions. For more information, please contact us.
