Changes to your mortgage agreement: Your Rights And Responsibilities

If your original mortgage agreement is with a federally regulated financial institution and the agreement is changed, your lender must provide details of any changes to information it was required to disclose to you for the initial agreement in writing, within 30 days of the date the amendment was made. The financial institution may provide this information to you electronically if you consent to receive required information in electronic format rather than as paper documents.
