Changes to your account

When changes are made to your account – for example, when fees are increased – the bank is obliged to indicate this by posting a notice in your branch, at ATMs, at points of service and on its Web site. Check the notices and information products displayed in your branch, at other points of service and on your bank’s Web site on a regular basis. If you don't know where information on changes is posted, ask the bank staff for help.

FCAC's Cost of Banking Guide summarizes the main types of accounts at Canada's major banks and financial institutions, to enable you to compare the features and fees of various accounts. Try the interactive version of this guide to help you find an account that suits your needs. To try the Cost of Banking Guide tool now, click here.
